Visy has been selected to deliver more than 60 lanes of OCR to Port Klang and PTP in Malaysia. Visy OCR is used to enhance automation and data collection during the cargo screening process as part of the Megaports Program. Both license plate recognition (LPR) and container code identification are in use. The Visy OCR system enhances automation during the cargo screening process by sending real-time results to the ports' x-ray systems.
