Visy has been selected to deliver more than 20 lanes of OCR to the Port of Manila at Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) and South Harbor as part of the Megaports Program. Both license plate recognition (LPR) and container code identification are in use. The Visy OCR system enhances automation during the cargo screening process by sending real-time results to the ports' x-ray system.
